My Place tells the story of one house in south Sydney as told by the generations of children who have lived there over a period of over 220 years. The series opens in 2008 and travels back to pre-1788. Each episode centres around a child with a talent for some kind of trouble, each hiding up the same old fig tree, each with a story to tell.

An adventure of paleogenecist Luisa and her family, Daniel and her son Max, which get in difficulties with the pharmaceutical industry; and a fight against the disease of Max. After Luisa gets fired, she steals the dinosaur-DNA from her ex-employer and escapes to her homeland Austria. In her ambition and love to her son she tries everything to invent a medicine, so she takes the risk and clones a dinosaur. In a moment of a lack of attention Max gets friends with the dinosaur. A beginning of a relationship full of love and danger. But the family secret leaks and dark forces aren't far away. The family is suddenly in danger. A story full of love, tension and action for the whole family

1917. In Petrograd, a young Latvian boy Jezups signs up to work for the revolution and is sent to central Russia to show films and campaign for joining the Red Army. Jezups is a naive idealist and would rather not touch weapons at all, but life destroys his belief that it is possible to do without violence. In the end, Jezups is forced to understand that the ideals of the revolution must be defended not only with a film projector, but also with a machine gun.
